The Court Métrange Festival is about to make its big return in Rennes, in partnership for the first time with IRISA!
As an emblematic cultural event in Brittany for 20 years, the Court Métrange Festival stands out for its highlighting of short films of "genre" and its promotion of new cinematographic approaches.
For this edition, IRISA will be taking part in the Marché de l’Innovision (Innovision Market) on 28th and 29th September, the new space at Village Métrange dedicated to technological innovations in the field of images, to introduce people to the creative richness of virtual reality.
At the crossroads of art, imagination and technology, explore 3 VR projects led by two scientists from the HYBRID team: Valérie Gouranton, INSA Rennes associate professor, and Ronan Gaugne, University of Rennes research engineer, as well as Kevin Gohon, teacher-researcher associated with the Arts: practices and poetics team at University of Rennes 2, in collaboration with artists Alma Oskouei and Afshin Azizi, and students from INSA Rennes and University of Rennes 2.
Let yourself be surprised by these unprecedented experiences that reinvent the visual narrative by proposing an immersive and innovative approach, throwing the audience at the center of the action!

Exhibited at the last edition of RectoVRso festival in Laval Virtual, this creation invites us to dive into the mental universe of Line, a cyborg on the verge of amnesia.
