Fouad Makiyeh (PhD student at the University of Rennes), François Chaumette (Inria Research Director), Maud Marchal (Professor at INSA Rennes) and Alexandre Krupa (Inria Research Director), members of the Rainbow team, were finalists for the best paper prize at the IROS 2023 conference held in Detroit at the beginning of October.
Ten papers were shortlisted for the award from among the 1,200 presented at the conference, including the team's paper entitled "Shape Servoing of a Soft Object Using Fourier Series and a Physics-based Model".
