MACLEAN: "Machine Learning and computer vision in Earth Observation: Scientific results VS Industrial needs"

During the joint CAp and RFIAP conferences to be held in Vannes on 5-8 July (more information on these conferences), a workshop on machine learning and computer vision issues in the context of earth observation is planned for Tuesday 5 July.

This workshop, organised with the support of the MACLEAN action of the GDR MADICS and the SIG BreTel, aims to bring together the environmental and data science communities and to compare scientific work with industrial needs in artificial intelligence (learning, computer vision) applied to Earth observation.

More precisely, the objective of this day will be to cross-reference the needs and expectations of industrialists in the field with the work of academic research laboratories. In doing so, the workshop will aim to raise awareness of the potential of the latest academic scientific developments, to confront them with industrial realities, but also to identify the scientific problems that companies are facing and for which research work must be undertaken.

The day will consist of invited presentations (academic and industrial), round tables and a poster/demonstration session.

Researchers: come and present your research work
Companies that wish to do so will also have a stand for technological demonstrations.

If you are interested in presenting your work (academic or industrial), please contact us as soon as possible.
