AM - Discovery
of the Corsair City. Guided visit of Saint-Malo, corsair
city with an incomparable architectural heritage. Its walled city
(Intramuros) is the most visited place in Brittany. Duration 1h30min.

of Cancale. Magnificent panorama of the Northern coast
and oyster parcs.

PM - Departure for Mont-Saint-Michel, visit of the coast with
magnificent landscapes.

PM - Visit
of the Mont-Saint-Michel, rocky, cone-shaped granit
islet in northwestern France, in the Gulf of Saint-Malo, connected
by a causeway with the mainland. The islet, celebrated for its Benedictine
abbey, has small houses and shops on its lowest level. Above these
stand the monastic buildings, many of which date from the 13th century
and are considered outstanding examples of Gothic architecture.
The entire islet is crowned by the abbey church, about 73 m (about
240 ft) above sea level.
Evening
- Transfer in a tourist bus from Mont-Saint-Michel to Rennes railway
station.
At
this period you can also attend the spectacular Saint-Malo start
to the 8th edition of the single-handed transatlantic Route
du Rhum yachting race, with the departure from Saint-Malo on
October 29th. Some 60 or so boats will be hoping to be the first
to arrive in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), after a two-week
Atlantic crossing for the fastest vessels.
