PhD student working on blockchains, epidemic protocols and eventual consistency.
I joined the ASAP research group in October 2014 under the supervision of François Taïani and Davide Frey.
I received a BSc in Computer Science in 2011 and an MSc in Distributed Systems in 2013, both from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France).

Research interests

Decentralised systems and algorithms, blockchains, epidemic protocols, consistency models, social networks, banana-splits, privacy.

Visit

I spent three months, from June to August 2016, at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (The Netherlands) working on blockchains with Spyros Voulgaris.

Local activities

I am a member of the centre committee [intranet] and of the training committee [intranet] of Inria Rennes.
Please contact me if you want some info or want me to pass a message. That’s what it’s for.

Popularization

I gave a talk (in French) at the Regional council of notaries of Brittany in December 2017 on “Demystifying the blockchain and its utility for notaries”. In short: a blockchain can alleviate the verification work performed by notaries, provided that the verification can be automated. Manual verification will be reduced but will still be needed, which justifies the existence of notaries as trusted third-parties of the public authority, even if a blockchain is deployed.

Giving-my-opinion activities

TPC member: IEEE SOCA 2017, IEEE SC2 2017, IEEE SC2 2016.
External reviewer: SERIAL@MW 2017, OPODIS 2016, DCC@PODC 2016.
