ACI Masse de Données

History
The ReMIX project started in 2003 thanks to the ACI MD french initiative. It followed
the RDISK project (see
web site) by extending the concept on-the-fly filtering of huge amounts of data.
On the RDISK machine, data are stored on a 48 reconfigurable disk node cluster. On
ReMIX, the challenge was to promote other issues in order to investigate new
alternatives for querying large databases.
Proposal
- Build a large memory with reconfigurable capabilities
- Develop a suitable programming environment
- Investigate 3 application domains:
See the complete proposal (in french).
