I received the B.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering in September 2009 and the MS degree in robotics engineering in July 2011, both from the Università degli Studi di Genova, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Université Laval of Quebec, Canada, in December 2014. In the context of the European Master on Advanced Robotics (EMARO) program, I spent the whole second year of master course at Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Nantes, France, where I carried out my Master's thesis. During a six month sabbatical period, I had a short pro bono collaboration with the robotics laboratory of the UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires), Argentina. Since November 2015 I am with the Lagadic Team at INRIA, in Rennes as a post-doctoral researcher in the context of the european H2020 RoMaNS project.
I am currently working on the development of algorithms for shared control architectures as an aid for teleoperation in hazardous environments. My research interests include haptics, bilateral teleoperation and shared control.
