TRANSFORM is a Marie Curie Initial Training Networks European project devoted to the Theoretical Foundations of Software Transactional Memory (STM). STM systems aim at providing programmers
with concepts and tools that facilitates the design of concurrent programs. In short, they can be seen as “concurrent programming for the measses”.
The aim of the TRANSFORM project is to supply sane theoretical foundations for these systems. It involves the following universities : ICS FORTH (Greece), EPFL (Switzerland), University of Rennes 1 (France), Technische Universitat of Berlin (Germany) and the Technion (Israel).
You will find hereafter the program of the Transform School here.
