The main difference from the previous versions is the introduction of waveform streams which enables a sequential reading of waveform samples thus making it possible to deal with large audio streams (several hours of waveforms at 48 kHz) without requiring Gbytes of memory! This change comes along with the support of the WAVE file format and with the ability of reading waveform streams from stdout. Release 3.3.1 is fully compatible with release 3.3.
