The best way to reach Le Mont-Saint-Michel is by Paris. Then, you go to Rennes by TGV train (2 hours) or by plane (one hour, but there are very few flights on Sunday, ). A bus shuttle is organized to drive you from Rennes to Le Mont-Saint-Michel.

How to go from Paris to Rennes by train
From Montparnasse railway station: take a TGV train (high speed train) to Rennes. It takes 2 heures - About 10 trains per day. Then take the DX shuttle.

How to go from Rennes to Le Mont-Saint-Michel (and back)
A special bus will depart from the Rennes railway station around 6:45 p.m., and will arrive at Mont-Saint-Michel at about 7:45 p.m.
On Thursday September 18, a special bus will leave Mont-Saint-Michel after lunch to catch the TGV leaving Rennes at 3:15 p.m. and arriving at Paris Montparnasse at 5:20 p.m. (TGV number 8742).
Our suggestion :
On Sunday September 14, there is a TGV from the Paris Montparnasse railway station that leaves at 4:20 p.m. and arrives at 6:33 p.m. (TGV number 8647). Catch this train and then the DX shuttle !
Just in case:
If you can't take this special bus on Sunday evening, Mont-Saint-Michel

Caen).
At Pontorson, take a taxi to Mont-Saint-Michel (a distance of 8km approximately).
