Background and Position
I studied at the Paul Sabatier University, in Toulouse, where I graduated with a B.Sc in Engineering Applied Mathematics (2009) and a M.Sc in Engineering Mathematics (2011).
I am currently a PhD candidate at INRIA Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique since November 2011 under the supervision of Etienne Mémin and Dominique Heitz.
Research areas
My PhD research is focused on the investigation of image assimilation techniques for Large Eddy Scale (LES) models. Within this context, I am particularly interested in the variational assimilation approach, the J.L. Lions optimal control techniques and the automatic differentiation methods.
I am, moreover, interested in applying these techniques to 3D turbulent flows reconstruction which is a major stake for many domains such as environmental sciences and aerodynamics.
