UMLAUT Related Projects
UMLAUT can be seen as an integration platform
for various different projects led in collaboration with other research
centers, universities or industrial partners.
- CONVERGENCE is a
RNRT exploratory project aiming a encouraging the convergence between SDL and
UML, most notably through the introduction into UML of an action language based
on SDL lessons.
- METAFOR is a CNET CTI project aiming at providing
tools for handling OO frameworks at the semantics level.
- OURAL is a RNRT pre-competitive
project for specializing UML tools to the context of soft real time distributed
systems, with an emphasis on both quantitative and qualitative (functional)
validation.
UMLAUT aims at being an open environment allowing
other projects to easily connect to it. Examples of such projects are:
- The BDL Project aiming to promote the Behaviour Description Language (BDL) as a back-bone formalism, linking together the
dynamic views of the UML. The BDL project is part of the Reutel project, a joint project with
Alcatel.
- Specification in UML and compilation of Mediums, aka Communication
Components that encapsulate any kind of communication service or protocol.
- Object Oriented Testing
